The shrub is in flower throughout June and July, but each individual flower only lasts for a single day once opened. The sticky leaves are dark green and they make the perfect foil for the flowers. This shrub is well-suited for planting as groundcover and it is also great for planting in banks or slopes as well as a rock garden.
