Following the successful launch of Hahnemühle’s Toned Watercolor Books, the storied German art paper mill is now offering the same lovely paper in tear-off pads. Unique to the fine art market, Hahnemühle Toned Watercolor is colored warm tan or cool grey to enhance your sketches and offer a more organic look than white paper. The cool, purplish grey is ideal for city scenes and rainy days. You’ll be able to realize complete, satisfying sketches more quickly since the background is already a gorgeous midtone.
This cold press watercolor paper is highly versatile and well-suited to a wide range of watercolor and drawing techniques. Colors lift easily from the paper, thanks to the sizing applied to this paper. The grain pattern is pronounced enough to make your landscapes look natural, but a fountain pen will still move smoothly across the surface.
20 sheets per pad, glue-bound at the top. 200 gsm weight. Available in three sizes: A5 (5.8″ x 8.3″), Square (7.9″), and A4 (8.3″ x 11.7″). Made in Germany.
